Penn Soil RC&D

The Penn Soil RC&D Area covers eight counties in the Northwestern Pennsylvania. It was organized in 1964 as one of the first designated RC&D areas in the nation. Current Penn Soil RC&D projects include: The Hunting and Fishing Museum of Pennsylvania, The 2004 Tillage Conference, NorthWest Project Grass, Compacted Calcium Demonstration Project, and a Wastewater Treatment Program for Amish Greywater. Penn Soil RC&D has been a leader in providing environmental education and information through its various programs.
